What can I do to avoid being a victim of fraud?

Ask to see the seller in person and the container
Search for company information, such as network activity
Close the business in person.
Do not pay in advance without seeing the container in person.
Check the price with the market. If it is from outside, it is supposed to be more expensive to bring it to Puerto Rico, so if you see a cheap price it is false.

What can I do if I was a victim of fraud?

1. Let the corresponding authorities know. If you have any evidence of the payment and the entire process, share it.

2. If the payment was through PayPal and it was through business, contact PayPal for a refund and to report the fraud.
